French skateboarder from Lyon Aurelien Giraud just became the 2023 new street skateboard world champion! This is the first time that a french rider walk on the higher step of the Word Skate street podium

After a very tight final, and thanks to an incredible performance at the Best Trick, Aurelien Giraud get his first crown at the 2023 World Championship. Aurelein scored 269.33 points out of 300, just 2 points a head of Gustavo Ribeiro from Portugal. Young 12 years old Japaneese Ginwoo Onodera was the surprise by stepping on the 3rd step

Aurélien Giraud is skatboarding since he was 10 years old and is trainning at Lyon Gerland skatepark. Aurelien is a hard worker and is competition focused. Aurelien skateboard's dream & actual main goal would be to get gold at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games after finishing 6th at the  Tokyo 2021 Olympics.

This first worl skate title is not a surprise as Aurelien Giraud already won the prestigious Dew Tour inn 2019.
