Fulkit Snowskate Meeting: When the snowskate arrives in Chartreuse!

On February 5, the small family resort of Chartreuse Saint Hugues – Les Egaux hosted the first edition of the Fulkit Snowskate meeting.

Under the sun and good humor, dozens of riders gathered around a common passion for this new sport halfway between snowboarding and skateboarding.

Throughout the afternoon, Fulkit, in partnership with Hovland snowskates and the support of the association La Familia 38, offered an initiation / board test animation. The opportunity for many curious to discover a new way of approaching the slopes.

In the evening, a lit track hosted the first contest of its kind. For this occasion, the resort of St Hugues Les Egaux had carved out a boardercross course for us.

The championship took place in a duel format. Qualifications in runs one against one in random pools, then elimination table.

Nighttime low light & hard snow conditions added a little more challenge to everyone.

After 2 hours of competition in a friendly atmosphere, the American Ryan Bradski wins hands down, ahead of Aldric Muller (Asso La Familia 38) and Pierre Gamby (Asso La Familia 38 & manager of Fulkit).

The evening ended with a great convivial meal at the restaurant at the bottom of the slopes “L’Etape suivante”.

The resort has 1 green run, 2 blue runs, and a red run with a perfect drop for the discipline and a day pass for only twelve Euros (yes you read that right!!!).
