Buying local is possible even for the skateboard! Cyril Pontieux set himself the challenge skateboards and longboards in France is the challenge that Cyril Pontieux set himself several years ago with the Koad brand.

Cyril trained as a carpenter and studied with craftsmen. A lifelong board sports enthusiast, Cyril began by shaping wooden surfboards for himself and his family. decks Then, by popular demand, he created his own brand, Koad, which means 'wood' in Breton. As a logical next step, Koad extended its range to skateboards with a whole range of boards covering the various disciplines: Freeride, Pumptrack, surfskateCruising, Dancing,... The decks Koad are all developed in conjunction with experienced riders. Each skateboard is produced in limited series and is signed by the shaper as well as its production number (rarely exceeds 10 units).

Fulkit skateshop has had the pleasure of offering Koad longboards for several years now and we have the pleasure of skating different models on a regular basis.

For the 2024 series Koad and Fulkit have worked together to develop the range, taking into account our experience and customer demand. We're very proud to be able to offer a range of exclusive boards covering all areas.
