Powell Peralta revolutionises wheels from skateboard with Dragons Formula rubber. Faster, more comfortable, more versatile and more resistant than all the others wheelsDragons are now the rubber of choice. wheel of choice. Now available in several shapes and hardnesses, each variation has its own purpose. We explain the different characteristics.
Which hardness of wheels Powell Peralta Dragon choose?
The Dragon formula comes in 3 hardnesses: 88A (softer), 93A, 97A (harder).
Although each is extremely versatile, we recommend the 88A for uneven terrain (cobbles, cracked ground, coarse tarmac). The vibration absorption will allow you to skate on terrain that is usually inaccessible with a skateboard. skateboard.
For mixed use wheel and skatepark, the Dragons 93A are the perfect balance between comfort and speed.
If you mainly ride on smooth surfaces, the 97A will give you maximum speed.
On these 3 formulas, the quality of glide is regular and pleasant on all surfaces.
Which Powell Peralta wheel Powell Peralta Dragon shape to choose?

There are 4 main shapes:
The classic shapes (V1, V4, V6) are wheels standard skateboard with a narrow or medium width. They are the most agilewheels for tricks.
Nano Cubics have avery old-school shape, with a wide rolling band and a very rounded outer lip that covers the nut of the truck. This is a wheel highlighted by Andy Anderson with his "coconut roll" trick where he rolls on the side of the wheels.
Nano Rats are a mix between wheel standard and Nano Cubic. With an intermediate width, the Nano Rats are more stable than the standard ones. Theshaft nut remains partially or totally protected by the lip. The inside of the shaft is cut to give a better grip during grinds.
The DF-88 bridges the gap between street, cruising and park. Comfortable on steep terrain like a wheel and as fast as a hard wheel in a skatepark, the DF-88 pushes back the limits of what can be skated, opening up new horizons of play. Available in a range of widths, the narrower ones being the most agile, and the wider ones being more stable and more at ease on uneven ground.
