What are the best brands of decks of skateboard brands in 2025? It would be misleading to say what the rankings are, because there is so much diversity. Everyone will have their own preferences, and we're no exception to the rule. Here are the decks brands that have won us over in 2025...

1. Powell Peralta Powell: An iconic brand since its beginnings in the 1970s. An alliance between engineer George Powell and skateboarder Stacy Peralta, two great talents in their respective fields. Powell Peralta has always innovated and stayed one step ahead. New shapes include the Anderson Vajra and the Chis Hiett Skull. The Flight boards offer phenomenal pop and outstanding durability. Old school or new school, there's something for everyone. We've lost count of the legends who have or are still riding for Powell. skateboard for Powell: Tony Hawk, Rodney Mullen, Steve Caballero,... A well-deserved first place!

2. Skateboard We love the brand's unique shapes, with many egg shapes adapted to the slappy. A strong visual identity, quality woods and a raw, no-nonsense philosophy. From decks that can't leave you indifferent.

3. Santa Cruz The oldest brand of skateboard in business. What better proof of quality? Anthology graphics, a variety of shapes, reissues... A must-have brand, a firm favourite with the over-40s.

4. Antihero: Well thought-out shapes. Robust decks with a slight suppleness. Pleasant feedback and better balance.

5. Jart: The European brand with boards made in the Basque Country. Tight prices and very good quality. Ethical and environmentally friendly production.

6. Baker: The brand of choice for Thrasher skateboarders. Timeless, solid, big pop, crazy videos...

7. Creature Outstanding quality. Very solid. Super nervous pop. For slamming big gaps! Creature is one of the favourite brands among experienced skateboarders.

8. Globe The best-selling skateboards brand in the world. Simple, effective and inexpensive for beginner and intermediate skateboarders.

9. Blind: Good pop, light boards, and graphics that took us back to the 1990s.

10. Madrid: One of the oldest brands of skateboard and decks made in the USA. Big comeback this year with reissues old school and the Santa Monica Airlines series.

11. Zero Rock'n'roll graphics, with collab' Iron Maiden, Misfit,... A team ready to break everything. Solid platforms

12. Vision The brand skateboard old school par excellence. The original version of the board, and revisits combining retro and modern concave cuts.

13. Plan B The brand used to the podiums, very present among competitors, including the French Aurélien Giraud, Felipe Gustavo, Chris Joslin,...

14. Cliché The brand founded by Lyon-born Jérémy Daclin, and now controlled by the Dwindle group. Simple, effective and inexpensive

15. Dog Town x Suicidal Tendencies: Good stuff old school for punk purists
