Trucks Independent Stage 4: Why ride reissues? trucks reissues?

Independent is getting nostalgic and is bringing out its 1986 flagship model, the Stage 4! Back to the good old days with a truck with character!

Independent (aka Indy) produces trucks from skateboard since 1978. In other words, its products have evolved over generations of skaters.

This year, Indy is surprising us by re-releasing the legendary Stage 4s.

How do the Stage 4s differ from other current models?

Stage 4s are the most successful generation in the Indy era. old school. Starting with the Stage 5s, Independent has completely redesigned the handling of the trucks to give them more stability at the expense of agility (which remains very good nonetheless).

The Indy Stage 4s have a feel that stands out from the rest, with far superior handling that allows you to do loops, for example. The livelier handling has a surfy feel, a signature of the early days of the skateboard.

Independent Stage 4: What's it for?

Indy Stage 4s are designed for street and bowl riding as well as cruising. 4 sizes are available to suit different deck widths.

We particularly like Stage 4s on boards old school which allow you to mix cruising and tricks and perfectly match the spirit of these boards. trucks

Are the reissued Indy Stage 4s identical to the 1986 models?

All the geometry of the trucks Indy stage 4 reissues are identical to those of 1986. However, there are 2 variations:

_ The baseplate has 6 holes (drillings old school new school) as opposed to the original 4.

Manufacturing method. Alloys and manufacturing processes have been refined over the years. The Stage 4 reissues are stronger than the originals.
