Diameter

The diameter of wheels has a direct impact on acceleration and maintaining speed. A small wheel will have better acceleration, but will saturate more quickly in speed, and will maintain its momentum for less time.

Conversely, a wheel will pick up speed more gradually, but will maintain its momentum for longer.

A 54mm to 58mm diameter bowl is the best compromise. If you're riding a small board, prefer a wheels 54 to 56mm. For the rest, 58mm is ideal.

Width

For skateboard bowl, we prefer a board wheel slightly wider than for street. The extra width will both improve grip and increase stability.

Hardness

Depending on the quality of the concrete, the hardness of a wheels for bowl skating varies between 90A and 100A. wheels softer are better suited to uneven or damaged surfaces, and have a little more grip. The wheels the hardest, are better suited to very smooth surfaces, they grip less, but are faster.

The tips wheels are for the skateboard only. For surfskate in bowl, choose wheels between 58mm and 65mm in diameter, with a narrow rolling band and rounded lips, and a hardness between 80A and 90A (e.g. Cinetic Nebula).
