Pack description

The Hades is a hardline downhill & fast freeride board. The rocker is restricted to the foot platform so there is no influence on the angle of the trucks. Thanks to the wheel well flares and the flush cut at the front, the concave continues despite the flat nose. This allows the rider to stand above the front truck. A steady stance in the tuck is guaranteed by the slight rocker in the front half of the board. The steeper part of the asymmetrical rocker and the slight w-concave at the back of the board provide a pocket for the rider’s foot. So you can even ride fast sweepers in a tuck without changing the position of your foot. Combined with the wheel well flares at the back, the rider always gets good feedback on his position on the board.

Zealous Bearings. Precision 8mm axle holes .409" built in spacers 1mm built in speedrings Green rubber seals to keep dirt and debris on the outside of the bearing. Lubed with Archoil Nanoceramic Grease

-The unique feature of our lubricant is how the nanoceramic compound fills in deformations or asperities in the bearing. These deformations cause friction and heat around them which hardens the nano-ceramic compound to that specific area. This micro coating is 5 times the hardness of the host alloy and has a molecular bond with the host metal, filling in all the asperities and eliminating friction over time.

-The coefficient of friction is the lowest in the field of Tribology at 0.003% creating a near frictionless surface. Mainly because the nanoceramic compound eliminates all asperities.

-Extremely low water washout

-Corrosion on the inside of the bearing is nearly eliminated

The 72mm Kevin Reimer wheel from Powell-Peralta is an all-around DH performer. Poured in SSF( 75A Purple, 80A Yellow) and SSF PRO(Green) Formula. This is a downhill race wheel with the skin on, and then can serve you as a fast freeride wheel afterwards - Truly the best of both worlds. This is the new version that comes with the black H5 fibre infused core, and a new "inset" lip that will let the wheel grip more, and wear better. The Purple is less grippy than the Green. The yellow SSF have a more "on top of the pavement feel, is more durable, and a more firm catch when you come back into traction with lots of slide in the middle. Set of 4 Wheels

Being a race wheel with sharp lips, you may lose small chunks while sliding, or when the wheel is worn down more than a few millimeters. They are not suggested for riding on very rough surfaces, those with large cracks, or for use carving around sidewalks due to their very soft 75a compound. the yellow 80a are more durable on rough surfaces
