Madrid Grabke Hall Of Fame 8.625" Skateboard Deck

Madrid Claus Grabke skateboard deck with a retro old school style. This new shape, developed personally by Claus, is a limited series of 500 units to celebrate his induction into the exclusive Skateboarding Hall of Fame. The unique graphic maintains the clock theme that has always been part of the rider's career. The deck is made of 7-ply maple with double kicks. Dimensions: 33" x 8.625"; truck spacing: 14.625". Manufactured by Madrid in Huntington Beach, California, USA. Grip tape not included.

Mounting advices

We would recommend traditional geometry trucks (such as Independent) with a width of 149mm. The choice of wheels depends on the usage, but a diameter between 54 and 58mm (consider using 1/4" riser pads) is a good match. Prefer a soft durometer (lower than 90A) if the usage is primarily cruising, or 95A and above for skatepark riding.

Who is Claus Grabke?

Claus Grabke is one of the most talented pro skaters of his generation. Born in Germany in 1963, he discovered skateboarding in 1976. Between the 1980s and 1990s, Claus won the German championship a staggering 19 times! He has ridden for and had pro models with the three biggest brands of his era: Madrid, Santa Cruz, & Powell Peralta. In 2024, Claus Grabke joined the prestigious circle of the Hall Of Fame, one of the greatest honors, recognizing his influence in skateboarding history. Claus Grabke is also a musician (rock) and producer.
