Santa Cruz Grabke Melting Clock skateboard deck, special edition in collaboration with the Stranger Things series. Faithful reissue of the 1980s shape. Updated graphics with references to the Netflix series, printed with a glow in the dark ink. Made from 7-ply US maple infused with epoxy and individually pressed for extra pop and durability. Medium SC-211 concave runs the full length of the deck, providing intuitive foot placement for both cruising and tricks. Slightly raised kicktail and nose. Size: 9.7" x 29.4". Wheelbase: 14.75". Santa Cruz is the longest-standing skateboard brand in operation (since 1973).

How to Assemble a Santa Cruz Grabke Melting Clock?

We recommend using standard-geometry trucks with a width of 169mm, such as Independent 169mm or Ace Classic 66.

For wheels, a diameter of 56 to 60mm is ideal. Hardness will depend on what you want to do. For cruising, soft wheels like Slime Balls OG 60mm 78A are perfect. For street and/or bowl use, harder wheels such as Powell Peralta Rat Bones II 58mm DF-93 or Bones 58mm X-Formula will give the best results.

For wheels larger than 56mm in diameter, consider using 1/4" riser pads to prevent wheelbite.

In 2024, Claus Grabke joined the prestigious Hall of Fame, one of the highest honors recognizing his influence on skateboarding history. Claus Grabke is also a rock musician and producer.
