Madrid x SMA Paul Constantineau 9.5" Natural Skateboard Deck

Deck Santa Monica Airlines Series 3 Paul Constantineau 9.5" x 30", produced in the USA by Madrid. A collector's board reissued in only 100 copies in this natural wood color. Wheelbase: 15". 7-ply maple construction. Medium concave. Double kicks. Madrid is one of the oldest skateboard brands (founded in 1976). Santa Monica Airlines was a small skateboard production workshop located at the back of the legendary Zephyr's Surf Shop. It was in this very place that skateboarding experienced its first moments of glory in the late 1970s.

Mounting advices

We would recommend traditional geometry trucks (such as Independent) with a width of 159mm to 169mm depending of the width of the wheels (if you use wider wheels, use narrower trucks). The choice of wheels depends on the usage, but a diameter between 56 and 60mm (consider using 1/4" riser pads) is a good match. Prefer a soft durometer (lower than 90A) if the usage is primarily cruising, or 95A and above for skatepark riding.
