Powell Peralta Dan Corrigan Chess Skulls 8.42" Flight - Skateboard Deck
Introducing the first Powell Peralta Dan Corrigan pro model. Although this deck may look like a classic popsicle skateboard, this Corrigan Chess Skulls is actually packed with a host of little features that make it so special (Dan explains it all in his video). The Chess Skulls measures 8.42" x 31.88" and has a wheelbase of just 13.88". This short distance between trucks makes the deck turnir better, and makes it easier to change positions during grinds. The nose and tail are both 6.9", but the tail has a wider contour for more foot/deck contact. The Powell Perlata exclusive's Flight construction (fibre and maple) ensures extreme solidity and a more powerful, persistent pop, while reducing weight. Shape #315. Concave K26. Graphics by VJC. Made in USA.

Mounting tips
Dan recommends trucks with 8.5" long axles (Independent 149mm, Slappy 8.5", Ace AF1 55,...). The trucks are deliberately slightly wider than the deck They are deliberately slightly wider than the Franhenstein in order to make them more comfortable, but they don't interfere with kick flips.
For the wheels a 52mm to 55mm diameter will provide a well-balanced set-up.
