The Hovland Five-oh V2 is a two-level snowskate (mounted on skis) designed to make tricks like ollies, flips, and rails easier. The Five-Oh remains highly capable for descending snowy slopes, offering a trajectory similar to a snowboard. It is the most freestyle-oriented board among all snowskates from the American brand. The top deck is waterproof, made of maple and fiberglass, with polyurethane edges, and covered with EVA foam grip. It features a deep concave and pronounced kicks. The sub-deck measures 92 cm in length and is constructed from a poplar core covered with biaxial and triaxial fiberglass. It has steel edges around the perimeter, polyurethane rails, and a curved profile. There are three insert options. The board comes with Hovland Low trucks and a leash. Certified STMRTG (a safety certificate allowing use on ski lifts in France—each resort retains the right to allow or prohibit snowskates on their terrain).
