On the outer face, the extra width and the lip shape provide the opportunity to use the wheel's edges without interference from axle nuts (making coconuts wheelies possible). Fast in pools & bowls. Forgiving on city streets.

If your are mainly skateboarding on smooth surfaces, the 97A would be faster. On any rougher terrains the 93A would be more comfortable while still being fast
