<p>Powell Peralta McGill OG Skull Snake Navy reissue deck. Just as Mike McGill was perfecting the 540 McTwist in the summer of 1984 at Swedish summer camp, V.C.J. was working on a new deck graphic for him. Since the "Skull &amp; Bones" theme was proving to be popular, that was the direction chosen for McGill's new deck. Mike's input was to add the snake and lightning bolts since there is an abundance of both in his home state of Florida. McGill's Skull &amp; Snake is truly a classic skateboard icon. <p>Powell Peralta Geegah Skull Sword 9.75" x 30" Silver Reissue Skateboard Deck. In 1986 jump ramps were all the rage. Unfortunately, decks were snapping left and right. Powell-Peralta deck returns were so high the company sought ways to make decks stronger and more resistant to jump breaks. One solution was Bonite construction. Another was the "Gee-Gaw" shape which had bumps to reinforce the break zone area. This shape was originally produced between 1987 and 1988. It features a Resin-7Canadian maple with Impact support technology(add of carbon fiber on impact points). Medium Concave. Standard popsicle shpae.
