<p>Powell Peralta Geegah Skull Sword 9.75" x 30" Pink Reissue Skateboard Deck. In 1986 jump ramps were all the rage. Unfortunately, decks were snapping left and right. Powell-Peralta deck returns were so high the company sought ways to make decks stronger and more resistant to jump breaks. One solution was Bonite construction. Another was the "Gee-Gaw" shape which had bumps to reinforce the break zone area. This shape was originally produced between 1987 and 1988. Single pressed with 7 ply US maple and premium glue. <p>Dogtown Eric Dressen Hands 10.125" x 30.325" old school skateboard deck. Fade purple &amp; black color. 1980s reissue shape. 7-ply maple construction, double kicks, front wheel wells machined. Pronounced concave. Dogtown is born in Venice (California, USA) in the 1970s and played a significant role in the early days of skateboarding with its Zephyr Boys (Aka Z-Boys) team. <p>Hailing from Denmark, in 1989, Nicky joined Powell Peralta. His graphic was drawn by Sean Cliver, inspired from a book on Polynesian art. While retaining the original shape from the 1980s, the more pronounced concave opens up new possibilities and facilitates foot placements. 7-ply maple deck. 10" x 30.25". Wheelbase 15.5". "Hard Rock Maple" trees grow in the arctic freeze zones of the planet, so with temperatures like that, you know these boards are stiff.
