<p>Powell Peralta Geegah Ripper 9.75" x 30" Maroon Reissue Skateboard. In 1986 jump ramps were all the rage. Unfortunately, decks were snapping left and right. Powell-Peralta deck returns were so high the company sought ways to make decks stronger and more resistant to jump breaks. One solution was Bonite construction. Another was the "Gee-Gaw" shape which had bumps to reinforce the break zone area. This shape was originally produced between 1987 and 1988. Single pressed with 7 ply US maple and premium glue. <p>A slight variation on the Dinghy shape that we’ve come to refer to as “Shape 9″, this board is 28.5″ long and 8.5” wide. The most noticeable features are the distinctively squared off nose and extra-wide tail. This shape performs similarly to the classic Dinghy. Pressed with 7 plies of Canadian maple for a light, stiff and poppy ride. <p>Between a cruiser and a mini longboard, Loaded Ballona Willy stands out as a fantastic skateboard for cruising in town, pumptrack sessions, or sending slides. <p>The Super Chief is a compact longboard shape that measures 36″ long and 8.65 long. It is similar to the Ripper, but even more compact for tighter carves and more agility. A slightly flexy ride and the long wheelbase give it a playful, surfy ride and lots of lean in carves. Mellow concave and a good amount of rocker will have your feet feeling at home on this board from the first ride.
