Wich Slide Surfskate to choose?
Are you new to surfskating, and/or want to get started with a cheap but quality surf skate? Slide surfskates brand offers a range of boards covering the needs of the greatest number, whether for bowl riding, pumptrack, pumping, or carving.
The Slide surfskate truck system is equipped with a horizontally mounted, tension-adjustable spring. You can therefore very simply adjust the tension according to your weight. In case of wear, the spring is available as a spare part and easily replaceable.
The Slide surfskate system makes it very easy to pick up speed by pumping, carving, turning on a short radius, performing surf-type maneuvers.
Depending on its size and/or its assembly, the Slide surfskate will be more or less suitable for a type of use.
Prefer a short board (Joyful, Gussie, CMC) for bowl riding or to favor liveliness.
Medium-sized boards (Diamond, Swallow, Fish) will be more versatile for a varied use pumping, carving, pumptrack...
The longer boards (Neme Pro) have a smoother behavior, pleasant for walks and carving, with the possibility of performing some dancing tricks.
Some Slide boards are equipped with 65mm diameter wheels with reduced contact patch. This assembly facilitates acceleration and sliding. It is an interesting setting for the bowl and to play with sliding.
Other boards are mounted with 70mm diameter wheels with a square profile and wider surface. This type of configuration offers more grip. It's also easier to keep up speed. This setting will perform better for pumping and carving. In pumptrack, you will also find it easier to maintain your speed.
