Madrid Skateboards x Santa Monica Airlines. First reissue for this Girl On a Plane Series 01. 29.5" x 9.5". Wheelbase 15". 7-ply maple. very low concave. Kicktail. Made in the USA. Madrid is one of the oldest skate brands (1976). Santa Monica Airlines was a small skateboard production workshop behind the legendary Zephyr's Surf Shop. It was in this place that skateboarding experienced its first moments of glory in the late 1970s.

Mounting advices

We would recommend traditional geometry trucks (such as Independent) with a width of 159mm to 169mm depending of the width of the chosen wheels. The choice of wheels depends on the usage, but a diameter between 56 and 60mm (consider using 1/4" riser pads) is a good match. Prefer a soft durometer (lower than 90A) if the usage is primarily cruising, or 95A and above for skatepark riding.
